E. Lou Cheek, Au.D.
Audiologist/Owner

Lou Cheek has been a part of the Tucson community for more than 30 years. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master of Science in Audiology. Lou earned a Doctor of Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Lou is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

A clinical audiologist for more than 15 years, Lou has substantial experience in audiological testing of infants, children, adolescents, and adults. From 1990 to 1998 Lou was a clinical audiologist in the Ear, Nose, and Throat Department of Thomas-Davis Medical Centers. When the clinic closed in 1998, Lou opened Adobe Hearing Center in the same location as an independent private practice.

Lou has identified the focus of Adobe Hearing Center quite simply: To evaluate the communication needs of patients and offer practical, state-of-the-art solutions.

Julie Smith, Au.D.
Audiologist

Julie earned Bachelor and Master of Science degrees at the University of South Alabama in 1995 and 1997, respectively, and earned a Doctor of Audiology degree in 2009 from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. 

Julie has practiced audiology in private practice and medical settings for more than 14 years, helping many hearing impaired patients in Tucson and surrounding communities. Special interests include hearing instrument technology and tinnitus management.

In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her son, participating in charity walk events, and traveling. She follows college and professional football, as well as Arizona Wildcat men’s basketball. (Go Cats!)

Terry Molina, HAD
Hearing Aid Dispenser / Audiology Assistant

Terry Molina has worked in the medical field since 1980. Her past experiences include working as an EKG technician, medical assistant, medical office manager and audiology assistant. Terry is also certified with the American Medical Technologists.

Prior to joining Adobe Hearing Center in 1998, Terry worked as an audiology assistant in the ENT/Audiology department at the Thomas-Davis Medical Centers for 6 years. Today Terry assists Adobe Hearing Center audiologists and patients with all aspects of hearing aid maintenance, and provides assistance during pediatric hearing evaluations. In addition to her clinical experience, Terry offers a wealth of knowledge in medical insurance and is available to answer questions about insurance claims and procedures. To top it all off, Terry is fluent in Spanish. It is no wonder Terry is considered an indispensable member of the Adobe Hearing Center team. When Terry isn't working for Adobe, she enjoys spending every minute of her free time with her 5 grandchildren.

Selina Warren
Office Administrator

Selina Warren joined Adobe Hearing Center in 2009. With more than 14 years of office management experience in the legal and medical fields, Selina brings to Adobe a wealth of knowledge and skills for creating and streamlining policies and procedures, management expertise and top-notch customer service.

Lydia Myers
Office Specialist

Lydia Myers joined Adobe Hearing Center in 2010 after serving seven years active duty in the United States Air Force.  She adds to the Adobe team her various administrative skills, commitment to excellence and warm Southern charm.  Lydia is currently pursuing a degree in Accounting and is expected to graduate in 2012. When not working for Adobe she enjoys reading and scrapbooking. 

Tani Sanchez
Office Specialist

Tani Sanchez recently relocated to Tucson from California, joining Adobe Hearing Center in 2011. With a wonderful blend of customer service and clerical skills, Tani combines a warm, caring demeanor with a passion for working with people and patient care. Tani also has a desire to continue her education in American Sign Language.

Nancy Ramirez
Billing Representative

Nancy Ramirez joined the Adobe Hearing Center team in 2006. Nancy's prior experience includes 5 years in the ophthalmology field working as a technician and billing specialist. Nancy is knowledgeable in all areas of billing including insurance claims and Medicare filing. If you have any questions about billing, Nancy is available for assistance.
