Audiologist/Owner
Lou
Cheek has been a part of the Tucson community for more than 30
years. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor
of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master of Science
in Audiology. Lou earned a doctor of Audiology from the Arizona
School of Health Sciences. Lou is certified by the American Speech
and Hearing Association.
A clinical audiologist
for more than 15 years, Lou has substantial experience in audiological
testing of infants, children, adolescents, and adults. From 1990
to 1998 Lou was a clinical audiologist in the Ear, Nose, and
Throat Department of Thomas-Davis Medical Centers. When the clinic
closed in 1998, Lou opened Adobe Hearing Center in the same location
as an independent private practice.
Lou has identified the
focus of Adobe Hearing Center quite simply: To evaluate the communication
needs of patients and offer practical, state-of-the-art solutions.
Audiologist
Christine Scott, MS,
CCC-A, earned her Bachelor's degree in communication disorders
form Southeast Missouri State University in 1996 and her Masters
degree in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Arizona
in 1998. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Christine brings experience and skills from a variety of audiological
settings including private practice, public schools, Ear, Nose
and Throat and the Veterans Administration.
Prior to receiving her
degree in Audiology, Christine was a licensed practical nurse
for more than 14 years. While she enjoys working with all age
groups, Christine is particularly fond of working with the geriatric
population. She believes patient education is a critical component
of a successful hearing aid fitting and is diligent about staying
current in the latest technological advances.
In addition to spending
time with her stepson, Christine enjoys playing the piano, archery,
reading, bicycling and computers.
Audiology
Assistant / Office Manager
Hablo Español
Terry Molina has worked
in the medical field since 1980. Her past experiences include
working as an EKG technician, medical assistant, medical office
manager and audiology assistant. Terry is also certified with
the American Medical Technologists.
Prior to joining Adobe
Hearing Center in 1998, Terry worked as an audiology assistant
in the ENT/Audiology department at the Thomas-Davis Medical Centers
for 6 years. Today Terry assists Adobe Hearing Center audiologists
and patients with all aspects of hearing aid maintenance, and
provides assistance during pediatric hearing evaluations. In
addition to her clinical experience, Terry offers a wealth of
knowledge in medical insurance and is available to answer questions
about insurance claims and procedures. To top it all off, Terry
is fluent in Spanish. It is no wonder Terry is considered an
indispensable member of the Adobe Hearing Center team. When Terry
isn't working for Adobe, she enjoys spending every minute of
her free time with her 5 grandchildren.
Office Specialist
Patty Watson joined
the Adobe Hearing Center team in 2003 after working 15 years
as a receptionist. Patty assists patients at Adobe Hearing Center
with appointment scheduling and confirmation as well as insurance
eligibility determination.
A Wisconsin native,
Patty moved to Tucson in 2003 and is looking forward to seeing
all the sites of Tucson. In addition to enjoying Tucson's warm
weather, Patty likes to spend her free time working with children
at her church.
